FEDERAL FUNDING

Canadian Heritage 
Canadian Heritage has a wide range of funding programs that support culture, history, heritage, sport and official languages in Canada.

Canada Council for the Arts 
Canada’s public arts funder has grants for almost everyone, streamlined under six funding areas to support diverse artists and arts organizations.

PROVINCIAL FUNDING

Province of Ontario
Each of Ontario’s Ministries has a range of grants for not-for-profits, searchable by sector.

Ontario Arts Council
OAC fosters the creation and production of art for the benefit of all Ontarians, with a range of grants across disciplines.

Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund
OCAF promotes cultural tourism by providing investments to Ontario organizations for one-off events or expansions of existing activities.

Ontario Trillium Foundation
OTF funds projects that foster healthy and vibrant communities, investing in community-based initiatives and strengthening the impact of the non-profit sector.

MUNICIPAL FUNDING

Toronto Arts Council
The majority of the City’s cultural grants are administered by TAC, which works to connect every Toronto neighbourhood with the transformative benefits of the arts.

City of Toronto
In addition to Toronto Arts Council, the City has strategic grant programs to achieve Toronto’s social, economic and cultural goals.

City of Hamilton
The City of Hamilton invests in the community by providing grants through the City Enrichment Fund.
