
LEAH FAIETA, PRINCIPAL
Leah (they/them) is an arts consultant with over a decade of fundraising experience in the creative and cultural sectors. Throughout their career in government relations and individual giving, they have worked with companies of all sizes to align fund development with their big-picture strategy. They love finding ways for their writing to help cities thrive and to support the causes they’re passionate about: arts and culture, the environment and social justice.

DYLAN SCHOENMAKERS, SENIOR CONSULTANT
Dylan (he/him) is a Toronto-based writer and editor with over seven years’ experience in the arts and educational publishing. Within the cultural industries, his communication-driven interests have supported grant writing and strategy, arts reviewing and journalism and content marketing. His writing has appeared in The Dance Current, Opera Canada and The WholeNote. Dylan is also a fledgling dance student in adult recreational classes across Toronto.

FIONA KING FOSTER, CONSULTANT
Fiona (she/her) is an author and grantwriter with more than fifteen years of experience in cultural and charitable fundraising. With a strong background in program development and impact measurement, Fiona has led successful appeals to government, corporate and foundation funders for a wide range of projects. Fiona’s strength is as a storyteller; she enjoys working with organizations to articulate their vision and generate funder enthusiasm. An avid reader, she also works with new writers through Toronto Public Library’s Young Voices magazine.

JASMINE GUI, CONSULTANT
Jasmine (she/her) is a Singaporean-born interdisciplinary artist and researcher with over 10 years of experience in arts programming, writing and editing. She is currently a PhD candidate at York University, and runs an interdisciplinary arts and publishing space, Teh Studio, working in paper, ceramics, tea and experimental book formats.

SARI ZON, CONSULTANT
Sari (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and seasoned writer with 20 years of experience in fundraising and grant writing in Toronto. She has served as the Director of Development at Art Starts and as an arts juror and/or advisor for arts councils, municipalities, libraries and public agencies. Sari has mentored over 100 artists and arts organizations in granting, development and strategy. She is passionate about community arts, arts education and initiatives that celebrate artistic diversity and champion inclusivity in creative fields.
