Arts Capital is a collaborative company that helps arts & culture non-profits secure funding, allowing them to sustain big thinking, deepen community engagement and make new initiatives possible. We focus on:

  • Grant, proposal and report writing
  • Fundraising support
  • Government relations and stakeholder strategy

To date, we have raised over $26 million in government funds from Canadian Heritage, Canada Council for the Arts, Infrastructure Canada, FedDev Ontario, Experience Ontario, Ontario Arts Council, Ontario Cultural Attractions Fund, Ontario Creates, Ontario Trillium Foundation, the City of Hamilton, the City of Toronto, Toronto Arts Council and a number of international consulates, with a 78% success rate. We’ve also raised over $1 million in gifts from foundations and individuals.

Artists Mentoring Youth

Artists Mentoring Youth creates and develops programs in response to the artistic and social needs of women, non-binary and gender diverse youth from equity-deserving communities in the Greater Toronto Area by engaging lead artists, program directors, and artistic mentors who come from similar backgrounds.

Dance Umbrella of Ontario (DUO) serves dance artists in a collective vision to build the professional dance milieu in Canada. Led by dance artists’ vision and business endeavours, DUO directly collaborates with clients to provide pragmatic business strategies and solutions to their multi-faceted projects.

gritLIT

gritLIT is Hamilton’s literary festival and year-round literary platform. Their work brings together diverse voices – the biggest Canadian authors, up and coming talent, and local Hamilton writers – in a series of readings and themed events. The festival’s mandate is one of accessibility for both authors and audiences.

The City Enrichment Fund is the City of Hamilton’s municipal investment in a wide range of program areas that supports the City’s Strategic Plan and 25 Year Community Vision. The Fund supports local charities, not-for-profit, artists and grassroots organizations across seven sector areas in Hamilton each year.

Since its debut 1948 performance, the WSO has been a pillar in the Canadian music scene. Each year, the WSO reaches over 100,000 Manitobans including 32,000 students of all ages, 160 children through Sistema Winnipeg and 4,000 individuals with complimentary tickets to community organizations.
